Tuesday 14th June
A cloudy day today, but it stayed dry - so we explored a bit more of this valley on the bikes. There are cycle trails all over the place, mainly off-road and this one is the Moorrunde going west through Finkenstein (love that name!).

We past the little railway station there so we stopped a while to watch a train go through(!) and then continued to Mullnern where there was a picnic table in the middle of the village. There were 5 geocaches on the route and one was particularly interesting. On one of the information boards along the Moorrunde were two white endcaps of a tubular frame - took one off and it looked like there was nothing inside - took the other one off and there was a wooden pole. Took the pole out and it didn't seem to have any function other than a rubber washer at the end. But, poke it down the 'empty' tube and the screw that held the washer picked up the magnetised cache and hey ho - we had it! We like this clever sort.

We tried out the campsite restaurant this evening and they served up the best pizza's ever (sorry Italy!) and the chef's Egyptian!

Rock Choir went well this morning, think Vikki is almost demob happy! The Reeves' christening on Sunday was lovely and Ethan behaved himself very well. Off to the Capitol this evening to see the Tanbridge production of West Side Story
